Common Ford Issues We Fix

The 6.7 Power Stroke is a solid engine, but it has known weak points. EGR cooler failures, clogged DPF filters, and DEF system faults are among the most common complaints we see on 2011-and-newer Super Duty trucks. If your truck is going into limp mode or throwing emissions-related codes, don't let it sit. Those issues compound fast and can lead to bigger engine damage if ignored.

The 6.0 Power Stroke, found in 2003 to 2007 F-250 and F-350 trucks, has a well-documented history with EGR cooler failures, oil cooler clogging, and head gasket issues. If you're running a 6.0 and haven't had the oil cooler inspected, it's worth doing before you end up with a much larger repair bill. We also see transmission wear on high-mileage Super Duty trucks that do a lot of towing, including TorqShift solenoid issues and forward clutch pack wear. Transmission work is one of our core specialties, and we have the equipment to do it right.
